Dan Weightman
Executive Director
Originally from Pittsburgh, Dan has served as a youth pastor both stateside and abroad. A position with Young Life brought him to the Bahamas in 1999, where he has lived and served since, first on Long Island and now in Nassau. After finishing a master’s thesis on responsible missions and indigenous ministry, God led Dan and his wife Kelly to start the Caribbean Youth Network. An ordained minister with the Evangelical Ministerial Association, Dan directs CYN and works to partner with other organizations to further the Kingdom.
Kelly Weightman
Mininstry Coordinator, Nassau
Kelly has served in youth ministry in the Bahamas since 1999 with her husband, Dan. She is a native of Pittsburgh and earned a bachelor’s degree from Westminster College. Since moving to Nassau in 2013, Kelly’s main emphasis is on college campus ministry, developing partnerships, mentoring, and coordinating discipleship among college students.
Bob Mastin
Mininstry Coordinator, Nassau
Bob is a veteran of student ministry for 15 years, serving originally in Upstate New York before joining CYN in Nassau in 2017. Bob earned his bachelor’s degree from Liberty University and is an ordained minister through the Evangelical Ministerial Association. He and his wife Donna, who serves alongside Bob, have three grown children.
Barrett Hendrickson
Mininstry Coordinator, Abaco
Barrett grew up in Pittsburgh, and after graduating from Geneva College, he served in both the youth ministry and worship ministry at Hebron Church, where he had grown up attending. Barrett earned his Master’s of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. In addition to his role with CYN, Barrett is the senior pastor at Kirk of the Pines and leads worship as well.
Carrie Hendrickson
Mininstry Coordinator, Abaco
Carrie grew up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and graduated from Geneva College. She spent 19 years on staff at Hebron Church, including as the Director of Student Ministry. Carrie brings years of experience teaching and discipling students, and building leadership teams. She also has a background in art.
EMMA BOYER
School Coordinator, Abaco
After graduating from Geneva College with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, Emma moved to Marsh Harbor to be a fifth-grade teacher at Agape Christian School and to be part of the CYN team in Abaco. Emma has a passion for educating children and inspiring them to reach their full potential. As a teacher and youth ministry leader, she creates thriving environments for young people to meet and know the Lord. She loves seeing young leaders reach their full potential as image-bearers of Christ.
Sarah Miller
Accountant
Sarah grew up in Pittsburgh and was in the Youth Program at Hebron Church where Dan and Kelly began working with the youth. She graduated from Waynesburg University in 2002 and worked with a forensic accounting firm until 2012. After serving as Treasurer at Hebron Church, Sarah is now working part-time as the CYN accountant.
